A.F.T.E.R. is the non-profit Association for the Financing of the Ecological Transition and Thermal Renovation (Association pour le Financement de la Transition Écologique et de la Rénovation thermique). It was established in Paris in 2013 to steer the SFTE project. “Faced with the challenges posed by both energy and climate, the Association is determined – by whatever means – to promote the financing of the energy and ecological transition in Europe.” (A.F.T.E.R. Statutes). The association is represented by Guillaume Emin.

Guillaume Emin
Director of A.F.T.E.R.
Guillaume Emin is currently working as Sovereign Risk Analyst at Beyond Ratings (www.beyond-ratings.com), a recently created agency integrating energy resilience as a key factor in sovereign risk analysis. He has experience in corporate finance and commercial banking (KPMG, Banque Palatine) and has worked more than 3 years in asset management as an SRI analyst (Oddo Securities, Candriam). He has also represented A.F.T.E.R. in the conduct of the SFTE project. Guillaume Emin holds a master in Finance from Sciences Po Paris.
Michel Lepetit
President of Global Warning

Michel Lepetit is the President of Global Warning (a strategy consultancy firm for the finance industries) and an independent Board member (life insurance & telecoms). He started his career as Head of R&D risk scoring and models at Compagnie Bancaire. He has held CEO or Board member positions in banks, asset management, and insurance companies: at BNP Paribas, Crédit local de France, BPCE, VIGEO and AXA, from 1987 to 2009. He is also the Co-founder and Senior Business Developer of Beyond Ratings (www.beyond-ratings.com) which specialises in sovereign risk analysis integrating energy resilience as a key factor. Michel Lepetit, is a Polytechnique graduate.
Alain Grandjean
Associate and Co-founder of Carbone 4
Alain Grandjean is an associate and co-founder of Carbone 4, a leading consulting firm specialised in carbon strategy. Carbone 4 advises public and private entities, assisting them in the transition to a low-carbon economy. Alain Grandjean graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale Superieure de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique, and he holds a PhD in Economy of the Environment. He has also 15 years of experience in management, and 7 years in consulting for investment funds and CEO.
Olivier Ortega
Section manager on Public and Administrative Law and Member of the managing committee of Lefèvre Pelletier & associés
Olivier Ortega is the Section manager on Public and Administrative Law at Lefèvre Pelletier & associés. Founded 30 years ago, Lefèvre Pelletier & associés (LPA) is one of the largest French law firm with 130 lawyers including 34 partners. LPA assists its clients in all areas of business law, with both contentious and non contentious matters. Olivier Ortega graduated from HEC and the Institute of Political Studies of Paris. His areas of expertise include law of public contracts and complex contractual engineering, law of public and parapublic structures, as well as law of government and public property.
